Ready for September?

My youngest son and I play a game called "I Spy in the Sky." To play, you look upward and focus on an object in your mind. Your partner speculates while you respond with a "yes" or a "no," until he or she guesses right. Well, there's no guesswork about September. It's time to aim high, using the energy of three major heavenly events to get going with your goals. These fantastical occurrences are:

Reverberations from Mar's recent "touch-down"
Jupiter's dance with Pluto on September 17^th,-- on a full moon!
Preparations for October, which hosts two eclipses and Mars in retrograde

Now add the spiritual spice of the month -- the spiritual energy of Vision!

The Spiritual Backdrop

Major astronomical events open doorways into the spiritual realms. Peer through the mist surrounding this month's astronomical anomalies and you'll perceive the most important energy gift offered by September. Like a rainbow behind the clouds, there glimmers the spiritual truth of Vision.

A vision is an image having revelatory significance. A vision might unfold through a dream, a picture, or a sense of knowing. "Vision," in contract to "vision," is a spiritual energy, one that has substance and weight. Vision gives you lots of visions, not just one! Its impact can also change your life.

Think of Vision as a band of colorful and iridescent energies, all of which interact to enable you to see yourself, others, and the world as it really is – and as it might possibly become! Embrace Vision and you welcome the energies needed to clear up old, self-destructive viewpoints, reengineer your dreams, and set your feet on a meaningful life path.

When Vision shows up, it's time to refigure your life goals. To get to the future, you often have to revisit the past and alter the present. Therefore Vision compels us to work in three time zones simultaneously: the past, the present, and the future. Here's how you might go about using Vision for spectacular results:

1. Purge the past. Chances are, your internal closets are full of inhibiting, inaccurate, judgmental, and fear-based viewpoints about yourself, your capabilities, and the world. If you could look at who you've been through the eyes of God, what would you see? Make a conscious decision to look at who you have been – and therefore who you are – with grace and kindness, and you'll become the graceful and kind person you are capable of being. Mix a little grace with kindness and you create Courage, the pluck needed to become a hero in your own life.

2. Be real about the present. "Getting real" through Vision means opening your eyes so that you look truthfully at the world around you. It's not enough to check out who's in your life or what you're doing for work. You need to feel your life. How do you feel in your relationships? At work? When working out? When sitting around the house? What do you like about yourself and your life, and what don't you like? Count your blessings, but not at the cost of being complacent. If there's something you need to change, it's up to you to do it.

3. Set action goals. Let Vision show you what's possible! Spend some time imagining yourself in the life that you truly desire. Now use pencil and paper (or crayons and newsprint) to write down action steps that will lead you into your desired future.

When working with Vision and visioning, you accentuate three chakras, or in-body energy centers. The energy of Vision chiefly relates to the chakras located in your sixth, fourth, and first chakras. The sixth chakra, located in your forehead, receives and disseminates insights, often pictorially. The fourth chakra, in your heart area, relates to love. It attracts energy and support to accomplish your "heart's desires," your deepest dreams and wishes. Your first chakra compels action, availing itself of physical energies so that you can reach the visions that your heart holds dear. When you decide to achieve the goals that you set through Vision, you automatically stimulate the energies of love of physicality necessary to attain your goals.

Why this emphasis on action when Visioning? You don't want to spend your life on the sidelines, do you? Know that in setting your goals, you are committing to taking action. Visionary contemplation will take you nowhere. Work with the energies of the month and you can actually begin to reach a few of the stars in the sky.

Astronomical Energies: What's Up That's Coming Down

What magnificent energies are pouring down from on high? How do these relate to the spiritual truth of Vision? What energy centers or chakras will be most affected by September's occurrences? Let's take a look!

Get-up-and-Go with Mars

The so-called "dog days" of August were anything but ho hum, with a serious move of sky occurring the last weekend of August. The planet Mars kissed the earth, moving closer than it has in over 5,000 year. Next time Mars makes another call this close? Science says you'll have to wait 60,000 years or so.

Think quickly and you can capitalize on the red fire of Mars; you have until October 1^st or so to do so. After taking Vision (and your visions) to heart, you can actualize the power of Mars to begin achieving your dreams.

Mars is a physically oriented planet, its crimson hue representing bodily power and passion. Mars carries all the potency of the first chakra, the energy body residing in the hip and genital area. Bolster your first chakra, and prepare to rock right off this planet!

Your first chakra directs physical energies toward desired ends. It provides the motivation, spirit, and strength necessary to make money, enjoy your sexuality, attract and maintain a primary relationship, and meet all your material needs. Channel Mar's enflaming powers into your first chakra and boom! Can you imagine the energy you'll have? If you've done your Visioning work and established goals that are love rather than fear-based, be assured that your actions will result in meaningful, ethical, and rewarding ends.

Mars has been affecting change in you since early August, whether or not you've been aware of it. Mars arouses. Some people experience this stimulation as agitating or irritating. Maybe you've been aware of monetary issues, relationship dissatisfaction, a desire for another, sexual lust or inhibition, health problems, or career issues. Mars ignites so that you can see what smokes. Exult in the obviousness of your problems or issues! Turn on a light and you can better see the dark. Deal with what lurks in the shadows and you can create more light. Use Mars energy to face the past and heal the old, and you can make way for a new future. The energy of Mars will continue to help you see into reality throughout September, but will also provide you the physical endurance needed to push through your issues and rise like a Phoenix from the ashes of the old.

Jiggle Your Luck with Jupiter

The energy of Jupiter is happy and frolicsome. Want a little luck? Stand under a shower of Jupiter's sparkle! Jupiter says, believe in bounty, and the Divine will be bountiful. Jupiter's gracious energies have been present for quite a while; now additional energies will spice up its effects.

For quite a while, Jupiter has been located in the breezy lane called "Libra." Libra energy is calm and peaceful, supportive of people searching for loving and happy relationships and work, and healthy bodies. The relative peaceful backdrop of Libra now erupts with the catalyzing blaze of Pluto, which cracks into Jupiter in the middle of September. As per our concentration of Vision, Pluto jams and elbows, aimed at ripping away artificiality. It illuminates our facades, revealing places where we've been placating, appeasing, or faking. Pluto plus Vision helps call forth our real selves. This process often calls for ruthless self-honesty, which is not always an easy.

Pluto relates to the eighth chakra, which is situated just over the head. This black-colored energy body can be considered the "place of the shaman," the home of energies supporting mystical powers and magical creativity. Stir eighth chakra Pluto into first chakra Mars, and what do you get? You arrive at a combination of the "super" and the "natural," or the supernatural. You gain the powers needed to free yourself from old forms and beliefs and establish more correct visions and behaviors. You get the power to LIVE as your true self!

The Jupiterian energy of happiness travels up and down the chakra system. As Pluto cracks open your eighth chakra powers, it will continue to work through all your chakras. In that Pluto waves its magic wand during a full moon, the time of emotion and psychism, it will deliver its potent messages and methods through the extrasensory communication gifts located within each chakra. Expect night or day dreams, visions, feelings, serendipitous happenings, inner voices, nature-based omens, or other methods of knowing to show you how to release the past, change the present, and establish future dreams. The esoteric and everyday blend as Pluto forces you to be honest about your real needs and desires.

Look Ahead Into October

There are two eclipses heading your way in October. Eclipses bring about change, and all the good and bad of change. The visions you set in September, the actions taken during this month, will serve as foundation for further growth and development during October.

Eclipses always arrive in pairs, involving a new moon solar eclipse followed by a full moon lunar eclipse. These fall about two weeks apart. October's eclipses occur on October 3^rd and October 17^th.

A solar eclipse ushers in new beginnings, often forcing us to give up the old to accept the new. In that October's solar eclipse will occur in the balancing energy of Libra, you'll probably be faced with a decision in the area of partnership. What type of people, persons, or person in specific, really enables your happiness? Which ones don't? Partnership decisions made at this time follow the intense self-analysis and courageous actions conducted in September. Looking forward from the vantage point of September, make sure to concentrate your decision making and visioning on the area of relationship happiness. What visions will lead you to happiness? What do you need in relationships, personal and professional? Give these questions and ones like them a lot of though in September, and align your actions with the answers. Acting with integrity could lead to true partnership happiness beginning in October.

A lunar eclipse usually reveals a revelation, one that has evolved from inner dreams and desires. October's full moon eclipse happens in Aries, a spirited, zesty energy. In October, you'll probably receive validation for actions taken in September. Who doesn't need a peppery and exciting reward for hard work?

Lassoing These Energies for Your Life

How can you best lasso the energies of September's stars for a better and happier life? Here are a few tips.

Remember that September is ultimately about Vision. Use the spiritual truth of Vision to see yourself as God sees you. As you shed old notions and images, look intensely and honestly at your current life. What fits? What doesn't? This ruthless assessment can lead to new goals and dreams, ones reflective of your inner nature and heart's desires. Write down your goals and attach action steps to each.
Accept your lucky stars. You're still in Jupiter, the energy of luck and happiness. Think happy. Believe that you can become even happier than you are. As you own the spiritual right to happiness, further hone your goals so that they really mirror God's promise of joy.
Plunge into Pluto. Pluto stands by to crack you open, prompting you to shed any and all artificial relationships, beliefs, habits, and behaviors. Lose what's not real and you can live a more real life.
Dream into your dreams. As Pluto moves into the spaces of Luck (Jupiter) located in your energy system, it frees you of inhibitions that overshadow your intuitive and supernatural gifts. Let your unbound spiritual gifts guide you while dream making and dream doing, as they are the key to attracting energies that create abundance.

What Areas Might You Concentrate On?

Given the interplay of energies in September, you'll benefit from examining each of the three main areas of life via the yardstick of happiness and joy. We deserve to be happy and fruitful in work, relationship, and health. Know that Mars will have intensified problems or stresses in these life areas, forcing you to examine ways you've been neglectful of yourself and your own truth. Try sharing your visions with others, and you'll be blessed with partnerships that provide and sustain, not drain and desist. Remember also to rely on the transformative energies of the shamanic for guidance, turning to prayer, dreaming, and meditating when you can, for the Divine really does want to guide you into happiness.
