Energy Healing and Artificial Intelligence (AI)?!!!***@@!

Feb 24, 2026

Decades ago, I stood in the utility room of my childhood home in shock. I was a child, but I loved reading science fiction and had just completed a round of author Isaac Asimov’s writings. Secretly. They were off limits, as my mother assumed that they would frighten me. I plundered them anyway.

Basically, Asimov discussed AI by another name, predicting that one day humanity would develop a digital intelligence to push our way through a dark age. As much as we might benefit, Asimov spoke of the dangers. The “learning intelligence” system might also take us further down the rabbit hole. The difference was a matter of ethics.

We’re there, right at the juncture. I’m wondering if you know that AI is already a part of energy healing, though?

First, a little bit about AI.

The term references computer systems that perform tasks that have previously required human intelligence, like learning, problem-solving, and making decisions. The penultimate AI systems are constantly evolving. They are continually fed data that they consistently analyze to look for patterns that support smart decision making. In other words, AI systems learn from experience and adapt to new input.

You might think it far-fetched to think that AI systems or avatars have turned into energy healers, but it’s happening. Smart devices are tracking biometrics and can recommend the timing for a healing session. AI is being used to map the biofield and decode subtle energies in the aura. It uses this data to provide suggestions. Already on the way are biosensors with computer vision that diagnose chakra imbalances, and platforms like Calm, Insight Timer, and others are already tracking moods and analyzing energetic needs.

So, what do you think of all this?

At one level, I’m all for bridging science with personal energy work. During a recent program, I taught students how to mirror advanced allopathic techniques. Do you know there are vaccines for several types of cancer? Well, try getting one. Energy healing can at least kick off some of the same effects of procedures that aren’t made available to the average person. I even guided students through an energetic sacred plant ceremony, as volumes of research show that everything from cannabis to psilocybin to 5-MEO-DMT (toad medicine) can make substantive differences in the treatments of mental and emotional health disorders.

But AI energy healing? Really?

As with anything, there is a simple formula that is a bit coarse but applicable. “Garbage in, garbage out”. The phrase is used amongst AI developers to emphasizes the importance of the data that is being fed into a digital system. If you want to create an energy healing app for teenagers, you’d better not input advice beyond their brain development, else that so-called “healing app” might instruct them to commit suicide or injure themselves if they become really depressed. Then again, if an AI chatbot can accompany a scared kid through a serious downturn when they lose their social media popularity, how beneficial.

If brain-computer interfaces aid someone who is paralyzed to walk, I’m all for it.

I’m cautious, however, especially when people seeking health and well-being take AI advice without applying critical thinking, or common sense. For instance, I know that an AI conversation can seem like the real thing, but that’s not true.

One client reported that her AI buddy, interpreting the data my client fed it (alongside I’m sure a ton of psychological this and that’s), was sure that her ex-husband would return to her. What? He had remarried and his new wife was expecting a child. Another client stated that AI informed her she ought to stay longer in a relationship that had obviously worn its course. Why did I think the other party was so over it? Well, first off, the relationship was an affair, and the lover had said she was staying with her wife and wouldn’t return my client’s calls. My client remained obsessive, unfortunately, because her AI friend was telling her what she wanted to hear.

During another Tuesday Tip, I’ll discuss intuition, and touch into how AI can support or hinder our own intuitive faculties as a sub-theme. For now, I vote that we all cross our fingers on the promises of AI and energy healing. I’m excited for many of the applications, if we don’t give away our own personal power and remain true to critical thinking and common sense and our intuition, maybe we can avert a little of life’s darkness.
